Name Juggle

Instructions

This is an introductory game, used to help learn and remember the names of others. Like most name games it is very simple, and not really intended for repeated use. Sprinkled here and there in a programme of activities, however, name games can form a useful first step in getting to know peoples names, and learning just a little about them.

How to play

Stand in a circle.

Throw a ball to someone else in the circle, and shout their name (if you don’t know their name, ask them before you throw).

The person who catches the ball, throws it to someone else, shouting their name.

This continues until everyone has caught the ball.

Special Notes

It helps if everyone stands with their hands up in front of them, until they have had a catch. To make it more fun you can play with more than one ball.
