Age Groups

Woodcraft Folk’s groups cater to children and young people of all ages. While all our groups are underpinned by the same aims and principles, we explore these in an age-appropriate way through our different age ranges. As they progress through the organisation, young people grow in confidence and will have more opportunities to shape their group’s activities.

Elfins

For 6 to 9 year olds, learning to work together and discover their world

Pioneers

For 10 to 12 year olds, exploring big ideas and finding their voice

Venturers

For 13 to 15 year olds, becoming independent and shaping their future

We are Woodcraft Folk and we understand and respect our one world

We think it’s important to learn about our environment and how we can take better care of it. We develop international understanding and friendship through our activities and exchanges.
