Camps for All

Join us for Camps for All!

Woodcraft Folk is a movement for children and young people, open to everyone from birth to adult. Woodcraft Folk offers a place where children will grow in confidence, explore engaging activities, take part in workshops, learn about the world, build lasting friendships and start to understand how to value our planet and each other.

We aim to bring exciting experiences to young people from all backgrounds through organising engaging events for young people (aged 10-15) as part of our ‘Camp for All’ initiative. Whether you are new to Woodcraft Folk or a long standing member, we want young people to join us for a weekend filled with fun, adventure and making new friends.

Non members and members can register their interest in a camp or residential via the form at the bottom of the page and we will then send you the relevant event information and booking instructions. Further details on upcoming camps can be found below.

Upcoming camps!

Our Camps for All weekend residentials will take place at centres and campsites across the UK that are owned and/or managed by Woodcraft Folk. Find out more about our centres and campsites here.

Our next event of the year will be 25 – 27 October 2024 at Heightgate Camping Barn, close to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden with a stunning view. Participants will take part in fun games, bushcraft, craft and cooperative activities as well as a walk to Stoodley Pike and discover natural beauty in the local area to the centre.

15 – 17 November 2024 we will be hosting a weekend at Cudham Environmental Activities Centre in Kent (very close to Bromley, South East London). The area is known for its diverse landscapes and countryside panoramas, is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Activities will include bushcraft, den building, craft activities, cooking on the campfire and exploring the natural beautiful surrounding area.

Adventurous and fun activities

Our Camps for All camping and residential activities will be delivered by experienced Woodcraft Folk staff and dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. We will often take part in adventurous activities such as canoeing, weasling and crate stacking that will be instructor led.

The events will include exploring the surrounding areas of natural beauty around our centres, playing co-operative games, making new friendships, taking part in workshops around social change and children’s rights, enjoying adventurous activities and spending our evenings around the campfire.
