Woodcraft Folk is a movement for children and young people, open to everyone from birth to adult. Woodcraft Folk offers a place where children will grow in confidence, explore engaging activities, take part in workshops, learn about the world, build lasting friendships and start to understand how to value our planet and each other.
We aim to bring exciting experiences to young people from all backgrounds through organising engaging events for young people (aged 10-15) as part of our ‘Camp for All’ initiative. Whether you are new to Woodcraft Folk or a long standing member, we want young people to join us for a weekend filled with fun, adventure and making new friends.
Non members and members can register their interest in a camp or residential via the form at the bottom of the page and we will then send you the relevant event information and booking instructions. Further details on upcoming camps can be found below.



Upcoming camps!
Our Camps for All weekend residentials will take place at centres and campsites across the UK that are owned and/or managed by Woodcraft Folk. Find out more about our centres and campsites here.
Join us at Biblins Youth Campsite, in the stunning Wye valley in Herefordshire 31 May – 2 June for a weekend full of fun, friendship, bushcraft, adventurous activities, orienteering and exploring the site and local area. We will be staying in camp Koodoo, a permanent site at Biblins with large bell tents for sleeping and a fully equipped kitchen for our use.
We will be hosting a weekend event 25 – 27 October 2024 at Heightgate Camping Barn, close to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden with a stunning view. Participants will take part in fun games, bushcraft, craft and cooperative activities as well as a walk to Stoodley Pike and discover natural beauty in the local area to the centre.
15 – 17 November 2024 we will be hosting a weekend at Cudham Environmental Activities Centre in Kent (very close to Bromley, South East London). The area is known for its diverse landscapes and countryside panoramas, is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Activities will include bushcraft, den building, craft activities, cooking on the campfire and exploring the natural beautiful surrounding area.



Adventurous and fun activities
Our Camps for All camping and residential activities will be delivered by experienced Woodcraft Folk staff and dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers. We will often take part in adventurous activities such as canoeing, weasling and crate stacking that will be instructor led.
The events will include exploring the surrounding areas of natural beauty around our centres, playing co-operative games, making new friendships, taking part in workshops around social change and children’s rights, enjoying adventurous activities and spending our evenings around the campfire.

To book your child/ren on to a camp or residential, we first need you to fill in the form below to express an interest in the upcoming events.
Once you have filled in the form, we will contact you with more information about the camp/s along with booking and payment instructions. Feel free to share this with others you know who may be interested.
For Woodcraft Folk members that sign up there is a discount and for non members who sign up to the camp, their fee also includes an annual subscription to Woodcraft Folk!
Booking closes when all places are filled – there are only a limited number of places available at most of our camps so book soon to avoid disappointment!
