- Players divide into groups of four.
- One person in the four is “it”.
- The other three players take hands to form a triangle.
- “It” stands facing one side of the triangle, facing one player across the joined hands. This is the player that “it” will try to catch.
- “It” can run around either side of the triangle to reach the player opposite, and may also try to dive underneath the linked hands of the other two players.
- The two players closest to “it” have to try and prevent the third person from being tug; they can move around as a triangle, but are not allowed to break hands.
- Allow each player a turn as “it” and as the player being chased.
