Fox & Rabbit

Instructions

  • All the players need a chair to sit on.
  • The chairs are placed totally at random around the hall, with plenty of space to run between them.
  • Someone is chosen to be the rabbit.
  • Someone is chosen to be the fox.
  • The fox’s task is to chase and tig the rabbit.
  • When either the fox or rabbit becomes tired, they tig somebody else who then takes over the running or chasing.
  • If the rabbit is tug, it can be reversed (as in non-stop Cat & Mouse) so that the rabbit becomes the fox.
  • The more frequently and secretly people tig someone else to take over, the better fun it becomes.
