- One player is “Mr Wolf” – they walk at random around the room.
- The other players ask continually “What’s the time Mr Wolf?” to which he responds “Eight o’clock”, “half past three”, etc.
- When Mr Wolf finally tires of their taunts and calls “Dinner time” the wolf proceeds to turn around and chase the others, who must reach the safety of a wall without being tug.
- The first person to be caught becomes “Mr Wolf”.
