Woodcraft Folk’s 2022 Annual General Meeting will be held at our Common Ground event on Wednesday 3 August. The Common Ground camp presents the perfect venue to host the first in-person AGM since 2019!
Our ambition is to host an inclusive and participative AGM where we will celebrate our achievements, discuss plans for our centenary year as well as the meeting providing an opportunity to prioritise the voices of Woodcraft Folk’s young members. We ask that Groups and Districts encourage young members to act as their representatives and delegates.
The AGM will welcome motions and discussion topics, prioritising those from children and young people. The convening notice below details the necessary deadlines for agendas, motions, nominations, amendments etc.
We will be asking Groups and Districts to vote in advance of the AGM for candidates for both General Council and Standing Orders Committee. The election will be managed by the Standing Orders Committee with the results announced at the AGM on Wednesday 3 August. The Nomination Form can be downloaded below.
There are seven seats on General Council up for election – two for members aged 16-24, and five for members of any age. There are three places up for election on the Standing Orders Committee.
