What to do
Ask each participant to take turns to roll a dice. The facilitator gives them the number of playing cards from the pack equal to the number on the dice rolled.
repeat this for a few rounds until you can see a clear difference in how many cards the participants have
Ask the participants to count how many cards they have
The player with the highest number of cards wins a prize (biscuit, sweet etc.)
Discussion Questions:
- how do you feel now?
- is this game fair? Why (and why not)?
- Are there things in real life that work just like this game? How?
- How could you make the game more fair?
- How could the unfair things in real life be made more fair?
