We have groups for children and young people in Stirling, Falkirk, Glasgow and Edinburgh. At a Scottish level children and young people can also get involved with our Gathering of the Smalls events which engage young people in decision making and our Scottish summer camp where all our groups can join together.
Early each year we hold a Scottish Gathering for those involved with Woodcraft Folk in Scotland. The weekend offers training workshops and discussions as well as being a social get-together. This helps new groups and volunteers gain a deeper understanding of what they are a part of, as well as sharing skills and ideas, and strengthening ties with other groups in Scotland. We also hold skill sharing and training events several times throughout the year which bring people together to focus on particular topics and gain confidence in working with children and young people.
If you would like to know more about our existing groups and projects in Scotland, setting up a new group, or are interested in volunteering with a group, please get in touch by emailing scotland@woodcraft.org.uk
We are funded by the Scottish Government’s Children, Young People and Families Early Intervention Fund, the National Voluntary Organisations Support Fund, and BBC Children in Need.
