- One player lies on the floor, and everyone must put one of their fingers “on” the snake, so that they are touching it.
- The snake says, “1, 2, 3, snake in the grass”, as quickly or slowly as they wish.
- The snake can then move and tig as many players as possible, before the players can reach the safety of one of the walls.
- Any players tug also become snakes, and lie on the floor – the remaining players may touch any snake they choose.
- Continue until everyone is caught – the last one tug becomes the new snake.
