Woodcraft Folk is delighted to be able to host a full-time intern during 2021/22. The post has been funded by The Jack Petchey Foundation and will provide an opportunity for a young person to develop their skills in youth work.
The intern will work across London supporting young people, volunteers, groups and the wider community both in person and online.
The intern will support the testing and development of Woodcraft Folk activities with the aim of increasing and widening participation of children and young people aged 11-25 years.
The intern will have opportunities to contribute to a range of our current activities and projects including:
- Kids Got Rights, an international project focused on children’s rights and advocacy
- #DreamBigAtHome, Woodcraft Folk’s online youth work hub
- Delivering outreach activities with partners at The Hub@75 in White City
- Youth led campaigns
- Developing programme ideas for our London-based groups and Cudham, our own activity centre in Bromley
