Make a regular donation to Woodcraft Folk and help the next generation build a fairer world!

Woodcraft Folk is the co-operative movement for children and young people. We rely on donations to amplify young people’s voices; to support the volunteers who run our weekly group nights and camps; to run our residential centres; and to give opportunities to children and young people who are harder to reach. In 2025 we’ll be celebrating 100 years of Woodcraft Folk, and we need your help to give children co-operative environmental education for the next 100 years.

What could you make possible in a year?

  • For £3.25 a month, you could cover admin and safeguarding costs for a volunteer
  • For £5 a month, you could give a child a free camp every year
  • For £7.50 a month, you could support a volunteer to attend a training residential
  • For £10 a month, you could bring Woodcraft Folk to a disadvantaged community with a Play Out session

Donating regularly by direct debit is the best and easiest way to give to support our work and help give young people a voice. It’s simple to set up, and payments are collected automatically each month, cutting down on admin costs.

Regular donations are vital to our work – they allow us to reliably support our volunteers, and plan for the future. Join the Friends of the Folk today by supporting Woodcraft Folk with a small monthly donation, and contribute to the future of our young people and our society.

Friends of the Folk receive an e-newsletter showing you where your donations are going; what Woodcraft Folk has been able to do because of your support; and how to get involved in upcoming events and campaigns.

Every week thousands of volunteers and young people meet in Woodcraft Folk groups in school halls, community venues and a host of other places. There they learn important issues about the world: the environment, world debt, global conflict and sustainable development. Your donations ensure that young people’s voices are listened to and amplified, so they can take an active role in shaping our world and their future.

“Cudham has made me realise being inside on my tablet all day is not very healthy and not very fun… I now know that being in the forest and the sunshine, running around and having fun, is way better”

“it was a great opportunity for us...both for the Elfins and for the adults...it gave a leader ideas, reassurance and stimulation, as it's a lonely role.”
