Friends of the Folk

How regular donations support our work

Our regular donors are called “Friends of the Folk” because of the amazing support they give to Woodcraft Folk.

Regular donations are vital to our work, as they allow us to plan for the future, and to ensure that our support is always available to volunteers. Friends of the Folk are kept up to date on Woodcraft Folk’s work; the impact of their donations; and opportunities to get involved in upcoming events and campaigns.

By setting up a Direct Debit, you’ll be helping to ensure more children and young people can come to Woodcraft Folk to have great fun, develop self-confidence and learn how to build a peaceful, fairer world.

Your regular donation will help us:
  • Recruit new volunteer leaders and support existing ones
  • Fund safeguarding checks; training sessions; and better databases
  • Start new groups and outreach projects such as Play Out and Camps for All
  • Support and empower young people through access funds, educational resources and more

To become a Friend of the Folk, please set up a regular Direct Debit donation below.

If you are not the account holder, or your account requires more than one signature, a paper Direct Debit Instruction will be required to be completed and posted to us. Click here to print off a paper Direct Debit Instruction.

Payments are taken on the 6th of each month.

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate.  By ticking this box you allow Woodcraft Folk to increase by 25% the value of any eligible donations you make in the future, or that you have made in the past 4 years, by reclaiming Gift Aid from the tax you pay for the current tax year. Your address is needed to identify you as a current UK taxpayer.
