Woodcraft Folk have launched a COVID-19 Recovery Appeal to support new volunteer recruitment activity and to attract more children and young people to Woodcraft Folk activities.
Woodcraft Folk’s Trustees have written to all Trade Unions across the UK asking for solidarity support as we seek to rebuild the movement. Trade Unions have been asked for:
- In-kind marketing and communications support as Woodcraft Folk seeks to launch a national volunteer recruitment campaign and a new website
- Opportunities to promote Woodcraft Folk activities to Union members
- Programme support, creating sessions plans and campaigns linked to Woodcraft Folk’s principles
- Financial support
Woodcraft Folk ask all those engaged in the movement to approach their local Union branches to add weight to the requests made of Unions at a national level. If you are a member of a Union please contact debs@woodcraft.org.uk to find out how you can add your voice to the appeal.
