“100 Objects for 100 Years” showcases our stories throughout 100 years of Woodcraft.  Touring exhibition from 14th October 2025 to 9th February 2026 is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. We uncover the incredible history of the Woodcraft Folk, spanning the world with friendship!

Venue: Rochdale Pioneer Museum

Hours: Wednesday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 4:00PM
Details: The exhibition will feature a hands-on experience, allowing you to handle artifacts and listen to personal interviews. You can also participate in activities like badge making and contribute to our international postcard exhibition, ‘Wish you were Woodcraft.’ Workshops for visiting groups can be arranged. www.co-operativeheritage.coop/

100 Celebrations and Exhibitions

We are visiting districts across the UK to support events and activities celebrating 100 years of Woodcraft Folk across the UK, helping celebrate the way you want to, Connecting, pooling our skills and resources to make this a truly special year.  Please contact marcus.belben@woodcraft.org.uk to loan our mobile exhibition, run activities, build on our ‘Wish you were Woodcraft’ postcard exhibition.

100 Workshops

We are running workshops at Exhibitions, in the Archive reading room UCL IOE, in Districts and at Cudham Environmental Centre to explore Woodcraft Archives. We are working with the Museum of Youth Culture and other creative practitioners to provide workshops in Districts building up to Centenary Celebrations throughout the year. Trailblazer Tent at Camp 100

We ran a range of activities in our tent celebrating the trailblazing work of Woodcraft Folk, based on activities identified from our archives our members want to do (tent making and decorating, silk screen t-shirts, games, badge making, shadow puppets…)

Please send your memories, photos, artwork and stories to us – ‘Wish you were Woodcraft’ is a giant postcard exhibition to go out across the world and feed into our online exhibition. Please share your experiences so we can represent all of Woodcraft!
