Get involved with Pioneer camp 2026!

Woodcraft Folk are looking to host a national Pioneer Camp next Summer 25 – 31 July at Biblins Youth Campsite in the beautiful Wye Valley for ages 10-12 years.

The youth organisation hopes to be able to bring together Pioneer groups from across the country to engage in bushcraft, adventurous activities, games, crafts and to build new friendships. Woodcraft Folk are looking to have a group of volunteers who can cooperate together to come up with activities, menu ideas, equipment knowledge and support the organisation and delivery of the camp.

The camp will be a space for Pioneers (and their group leaders) to feel part of a bigger movement, meet new friends, take part in fun activities and explore the amazing natural surroundings at Biblins. For those who haven’t experienced a ‘big’ camp before or want to meet up with friends made at Woodcraft Folk’s centenary Camp 100 this will also be a great opportunity for Pioneers and volunteers to share experiences and build new connections.

Woodcraft Folk will be hosting an open meeting on Monday 3 November at 7pm where they would love to welcome any volunteers who have ideas to make the Pioneer camp a brilliant, enjoyable and meaningful experience for the organisation’s young members. Woodcraft Folk are also inviting DFs (16-20 years) to support with the Pioneer event.

Woodcraft Folk are asking those who want to find out more and potentially attend camp to fill in this form to get an idea of numbers. So we can get a good idea of interest for the event please express interest in finding out more and potentially attending the camp by filling in this form.
