Biblins Youth Campsite

Biblins Youth Campsite is a Forestry Commission site which is managed by Woodcraft Folk.

It is a wonderful site situated in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by the woodland of the Wye Gorge Site of Special Scientific Interest. The campsite is next to the River Wye and is available only for use by organised youth groups.

The site has thirteen pitches large enough to accommodate a sizeable district, though adjacent pitches may be booked for very large groups.

During 2018 Woodcraft will be setting up a fixed camping pitch with tents, mats and cooking equipment.

The Burrow is a unique construction built into the hillside. It provides indoor accommodation which can also be outdoors as the roof slides back!

The Bunkhouse is currently out of use but we plan to renovate it and bring it back into use as soon as we can to provide year round accommodation.

There are a whole host of activities available for groups at the Biblins site from walking and cycling to canoeing, orienteering, climbing and bushcraft.

Information about the site is at biblins.org.uk
