Following the success of their centenary camp this summer, youth organisation Woodcraft Folk are thrilled to announce that next summer they will be hosting a national Venturer Camp. Venturers, the 13 – 15 age group of the charity will have the opportunity to attend as participants as well as volunteers aged 16+.
Venturer Camp is happening between the 1st – 8th of August 2026 and will be returning to Woodcraft Folk’s very own Biblins Youth Campsite based in the Wye Valley, where the last two Venturer Camps have been held. The 18 acre site hugs the river and is surrounded by stunning ancient woodlands, the perfect place to get close to nature and take part in engaging activities.
There will be an exciting programme on offer of workshops, activities and live music throughout the week. The camp will also be a great opportunity for young people and districts to link up again after the success of Camp 100 this summer.

Interested in volunteering to help Venturer Camp become a reality? Woodcraft Folk are particularly encouraging young people to volunteer on the camp and are happy to give advice to help them find a suitable role – please share the volunteer interest form with your district.
