Scarletts Campsite – Open Day / tree planting

Woodcraft Folk’s Scarletts Campsite in Cowden (on the border of East Sussex and Surry) are hosting tree planting and open days on Sun 22nd March and Sun 12 April from 9am onwards! The site have received some trees from the Woodland Trust which they need help planting.

Planting will start at 10am and finish around 4pm.

Please bring a spade/trowel, light gardening gloves, wellies/boots and a packed lunch. As a thanks there will be biscuits/snacks, hot drinks and a cosy campfire!

Adults and young people are welcome to attend. The nearest train station is East Grinstead.

The easiest Way to find the campsite is using the What Three Words app (Helps.Many.Tame). The campsite is adjacent to Scarletts Cottages. Parking up the lane between the bollards and please lift share where possible. Beware SatNav may take you to a turning point further up the road on the A246, so look out for the Woodcraft Folk sign and track entrance.
