We are delighted to announce that the Peace Plege Union are hosting a few sessions for our groups.

The first session looks at: Would you refuse to join the military? Talking with young people about conscription

What we will cover: With politicians talking about imminent war, military conscription is on young people’s minds for the first time in generations. Would you fight and kill for your country, or refuse? What are the moral and political concerns? Across history, conscientious objectors (COs) have refused to fight. May 15th is CO Day – a perfect opportunity to discuss this important issue with young people. This is an introductory session for group leaders, highlighting possible approaches and the wealth of free resources available

The session is taking place on April 22nd at 6.30pm
