AGM
General Council and Standing Orders Committee have agreed to host Woodcraft Folk’s next Annual General Meeting online on Sunday 26th September 2021.
In 2020 the AGM meeting was held online for the first time in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
General Council have also chosen a longer period for members to submit motions and amendments by hosting the event at the latest point possible in the year.
A convening notice will be issued to groups & Districts later this month.
Dates and Deadlines
Motions Received in writing by 12 noon, Mon 31st May
Preliminary Agenda Issued by Wednesday 30th June
Amendments to Motions Received in writing by 12 noon, 23rd August
Nominations for elections Received in writing by 12 noon, 23rd August
Final Agenda Issued by Monday 6th September
Motions, amendments must be submitted in writing to the General Secretary or by email to motions@woodcraft.org.uk. If you need help submitting or composing a motion, please contact standing orders committee via head office (or by email soc@woodcraft.org.uk). All motions should commence “This Annual Conference…” and should include action to be taken. Motions may also be accompanied by a brief rationale which will be published in the final agenda. Under current standing orders, motions to amend the constitution are taken every three years – 2022 is the next Rules Revision year.
