Some good news this week from Birkenhead Woodcraft Folk district. They have secured funding from the National Lottery to come to support their members to attend Common Ground International Camp this August. They have also received enough funding to run a weekend camp in the spring to help them prepare!
Congratulations to everyone involved!
The group have very kindly shared their successful application, so the Common Ground Team have updated the Awards for All page on the Common Ground website with their example. Other groups and districts can have a look and use it as a guide to apply for similar funding to support their own young members to attend the camp this summer. Groups can also apply for funds to buy any equipment they will need for the camp should that be a barrier for young people or volunteer attending.
