Annual Gathering

We've launched #DreamBigAtHome!

Our new lockdown website has hundreds of activities and games to do at home, weekly challenges to try and a regular programme of live workshops and events online, as well as information on how our groups can operate during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Event date:
3 July 2010 - 9:00am - 4 July 2010 - 2:00pm
Event location:
Broadstone Warren Scout Campsite near East Grinstead

Annual Gathering is the democratic heart of the Woodcraft Folk, but it’s so much more than that. As well as celebrating our achievements over the past year & electing our General Council, we discuss future plans for the movement, share skills & experiences, and enjoy each other’s company in true Woodcraft style.

This year we have an important discussion about how we will adapt to comply with changes in charity law, changes that will affect every group & district in the country, so please come along & have your say (see CCSB update enclosed for more details).

There will also be motions submitted by Woodcraft groups up & down the country, if you have something you think we should be discussing, please talk to your group or district co-ordinator.

On top of that, there will be the chance to hear about and get involved with organising CoCamp, the international camp of Co-operation, which we are hosting next year. Not forgetting the training sessions, workshops and a great Saturday evening's entertainment - including live music.

All members are welcome to attend and take part in Annual Gathering, but if you’d like to register as a delegate representing your district, please contact your district co-ordinator.

This year’s Annual Gathering & Conference is being held at Broadstone Warren Scout Campsite near East Grinstead on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th July 2010. But please join us around the campfire on the evening of Friday 2nd July, particularly if you’ve a long way to travel.
