Head of Resources

  • Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Salary: £30,520-£37,580 (depending on experience)

Woodcraft Folk, the co-operative children and young people’s charity, is seeking a home-based Head of Resources. This is a new role and you would be joining the charity at a time of significant change for the organisation. If you are a qualified accountant with strong financial management experience, gained preferably in the charity sector; and if you have a breadth of management experience and are looking for a senior management role, then we would like to hear from you!

Summer Scheme & Social Action Club Co-ordinator 

Temporary Contract - August - December (up to 35 hrs/wk wb 17th, 24th & 31st August. 7 hrs/wk wb 7th September - 18th December)

Salary - £27,022 pro rata

Location - Leeds, LS9 7HD

Woodcraft Folk is a national movement for children and young people. We offer a place where children will grow in confidence, learn about the world and start to understand how to value our planet and each other. We have been approached by the Co-operative Academy to run a summer and Autumn term enrichment scheme for some of their SEND and PP pupils and we have an exciting opportunity for a Summer Scheme & Social Action Club Co-ordinator in Leeds. 

The Summer Scheme & Social Action club will aim to provide safe, engaging and educational activities to students of the Coop Academy outside of formal schooling. It will also aim to alleviate holiday hunger experienced by young people. We are looking for someone to co-ordinate a team that will deliver fun and creative activities with young people through the summer and after school during the Autumn Term. Woodcraft Folk is an enriching experience for facilitators and young people alike as they both learn and grow from each other’s perspectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning activities, including consulting with young people to shape programme activities

  • Supervising play workers

  • Leading on all safeguarding, health & safety and inclusion issues

  • Liaising with Coop Academy staff

  • Evaluating the impact of activities on pupils

 


 

Summer Scheme & Social Action Club Assistant

Temporary Contract - August - December (up to 35 hrs/wk wb 17th, 24th & 31st August. Up to 5 hrs/wk wb 7th September - 18th December)

Salary -  £24,332 pro rata

Location - Leeds, LS9 7HD

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating activities with children and young people

  • Meeting the support needs of participants

  • Referring issues and concerns to the Project Co-ordinator
