Woodcraft Folk is looking for passionate and committed individuals to join General Council, their Board of Trustees. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping the long-term strategic future of the youth organisations movement while ensuring the organisation grows and is sustainable.
Being a trustee is an opportunity to make a real difference to Woodcraft Folk and their wider community. You’ll meet new people, develop valuable skills and gain experience in charity leadership and governance.
Woodcraft Folk especially encourage young people who care about the direction of the movement to apply—particularly if your skills and interests align with what the charity are looking for, as outlined in the role description.
In particular, Woodcraft Folk are currently looking for individuals with interest in and experience of:
- Fundraising
- Communications
- Property management
Trusteeship is a significant commitment. Alongside attending 6 online General Council and in-person meetings each year, you’ll need to regularly check emails, respond between meetings and complete assigned actions. Woodcraft Folk’s work isn’t just about driving Woodcraft Folk forward—it’s also about ensuring the charity is well-governed and sustainable.
If you’re ready to contribute your time, energy, and ideas to help Woodcraft Folk thrive, the charity would love to hear from you!
