Glossop Elfins is a fledgling group that’s been running since October 2023, keen to engage its members in activities that embrace and explore all of Woodcraft Folk’s values as well as connecting with the community and nature that surrounds us here in the Peak District. We’re passionate about paying homage to the history and legacy of Woodcraft Folk, as well as tackling issues that the children face in their day-to-day lives and the world at large, helping them to be creative, thoughtful and compassionate individuals, as well as part of a meaningful collective and organisation.

Woodcraft Folk is the UK co-operative youth organisation for children and young people that has been going for a century. Every week thousands of volunteers and young people come together at their local group. There they learn about big ideas through fun activities like singing, camping, playing and debating.

To express an interest in joining a group, please send us a message using the form. Once submitted, the form will email the coordinator of this group who will be in touch soon regarding your enquiry.

If the group you are interested in is full for young members, please continue to fill in the relevant form below to be added to a waiting list. Groups that are full are in need of volunteers more than ever as it would mean we can open our group to more young members and reduce waiting lists. Please still get in touch if you would like to volunteer.
