Webinar: Responding to Concerns

The final safeguarding webinar of 2021 will cover responding to safeguarding concerns within you groups. These could be raised by volunteers, parents/carers or by young people, and it is vital that the organisation responds appropriately. This session will build your understanding of Woodcraft Folk’s structures for keeping our young people safe, and identify how and when concerns should be escalated.

We will also:

• Discuss the sorts of concerns that you may need to respond to in your group
• Explore the role of the Local Safeguarding Lead in recording and responding to concerns
• Explain what support is available to volunteers dealing with incidents, disclosures and concerns

This session is aimed Local Safeguarding Leads, but is also suitable for any volunteer working regularly with a Woodcraft Folk group.
