Woodcraft Folk’s 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held on the Saturday 2nd August @ 2:30pm.
The meeting will take place at Camp 100, Kelmarsh Hall & Gardens, Northamptonshire.
Representation and Voting rights
- Each registered Group is entitled to be represented by one voting delegate.
- Each registered District is entitled to be represented by one voting delegate.
- Each District Fellows region is entitled to be represented by one voting delegate.
The meeting will welcome motions and discussion topics, prioritising those from children and young people, please submit all motions in writing by 12 noon on Friday 9th May 2025.
Registered groups and District Associations are those that have paid their 2025 registration fee by the date of the circulation of the final agenda/30th June 2025. Delegates must be fully paid up members by the same deadline.
General Council and Standing Orders Committee elections will take place online in advance of the meeting, from 30th June until 25th July 2025.
Motions and amendments to motions may be submitted by: General Council, District Associations, Groups, District Fellows Althing and Committee, Regional and National Gatherings.
Motions
Motions and amendments must be submitted in writing to the General Secretary or by email to motions@woodcraft.org.uk. All motions should commence “This Annual General Meeting…” and should include action to be taken.
Motions may also be accompanied by a brief rationale which will be published in the final agenda.
2025 is a Rules Revision year, as such Standing Orders Committee and General Council intend to submit a small number of motions to amend the Articles of Association – these include the term of office for elected Trustees.

Elections
Nominations for General Council or Standing Orders Committee must be submitted in writing to the General Secretary or by email to nominations@woodcraft.org.uk.

In 2022, the movement agreed to support a gender quota, to ensure the voices of non-cis males were represented on Woodcraft Folk’s Board.
Five lay members of General Council of any age to serve for a period of two years. At least three must identify as non-cis male.
Two lay members of General Council aged between 16 and 24 inclusive to serve for a period of two years. At least one must identify as non-cis male.
Three members of Standing Orders Committee to serve for a period of two years.
Nominations may be submitted by District Associations, Groups, and by District Fellows Althing and Committee.
Voting will take place online from Monday 30th June until Friday 25th July 2025. The results will be announced on Saturday 2nd August.
