Using JustGiving for your District fundraising

We've launched #DreamBigAtHome!

Our new lockdown website has hundreds of activities and games to do at home, weekly challenges to try and a regular programme of live workshops and events online, as well as information on how our groups can operate during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Visit www.DreamBigAtHome.uk

A number of our Districts use JustGiving to raise money and you can do the same too!!

Once you've decided on your activity all you'll need to do is to set up your page at https://www.justgiving.com/woodcraftfolk and begin fundraising!!

Once you start to receive donations and gift aid (processed by justgiving) ,these monies will be periodically sent to Woodcraft Folk National's bank account in lump sums. JustGiving provide us with a statement so we can identify who these payments belong to. Once the amounts are identified by our Finance officer we'll transfer the monies owed directly to the District deducting a 1% admin fee from the total sum raised.

Your fundraising page on JustGiving must include the following statement: "Any money which we can't spend on the purpose of our fundraising, or any surplus funds left over, will be used for Woodcraft Folk’s other charitable work". (NB: there's no need to include this statement if you are raising general funds for Woodcraft Folk. More information at https://woodcraft.org.uk/fundraising-guidance.)

Once your page is up and running please send the following information to info@woodcraft.org.uk:

  • The link to your justgiving page and title of page
  • District bank account number and sort code
  • The contact person if there are any queries
