Your Park Farm

Voluteering at the Farm

It is important to remember that this is YOUR site too, Park Farm runs entirely through the work of volunteers from across the London and SE region, both those serving on the committee and those who turn up to help at our working weekends. A BIG thank you to all those who have contributed in the past, it really is appreciated. It would be great to have a few more people along though as many hands makes light work! If you'd like to stay in touch with what's going on at the farm, you can join our Friends of Park Farm mailing list by emailing Pip Todd at piptodd@blueyonder.co.uk.

Park Farm Young Volunteers

Park Farm Young Volunteers is a group made up of 16-30 yr olds who volunteer at Park Farm. We operate separately from the Park Farm Committee Working Parties and often have our own projects.

Our biggest project over the past year has been the planning and installing of a new cooperative low ropes course and team building area in the woods.

Our aims are to improve Park Farm as a campsite, but also to create a network of young people who like outdoor work and aren't necessarily involved in Woodcraft Folk activities outside of their district.

Our weekends also include sleeping in a heated tipi, cooking up huge feasts on the tipi stove, socialising and procrastinating, and visiting the local winery. Our weekends are run at the token cost of £5.
