Woodcraft Folk 90 Year Celebrations-Burning the Clocks Parade
WOODCRAFT FOLK 90 YEAR CELEBRATIONS- Brighton and Hove Woodcraft Folk make a start at the Burning the Clocks Parade celebrating the Winter Solstice, on the 21st December.
This really was too good an opportunity to be missed to raise the profile of Woodcraft Folk in a procession that has been going for 21 years in Brighton, and which Woodcraft Folk has played a significant part, right from the start.

90 years of Woodcraft Folk project to launch in the New Year
In the New Year Woodcraft Folk will be launching a new project to reflect on its 90 year history. The project will involve opportunities for members of all ages to explore:
• The difference Woodcraft Folk has made on people’s lives, leaders and children
• How society has changed in the last 90 years – do we live in a fairer more equal world?
• Personal stories and memories through oral history recordings
• Material held at the Youth Movement archive at LSE and the National Co-operative Archive

Job location to be agreed on appointment, the post holder will be working with development teams across North Wales, Merseyside, West Yorkshire, County Durham and southern Scotland
Bushcraft Leader Training Camp 2 – 4 May 2015
This three day training camp will be held at our very own Woodcraft Park Farm, in Lurgashall
We will camp in tents on the edge of the woods and will take part in bushcraft training in the bushcraft area within the woods and in the main barn building of the farm.

New Partnership with Sense in Glasgow
Volunteering Makes Sense !Sense Scotland and Woodcraft Folk are joining forces in an exciting new project in Glasgow's Southside. This project aims to provide children with complex needs and learning disabilities the opportunity to participate in a new Woodcraft Folk group based at Sense's Touchbase facility in Glasgow.
New Leader Training Available!!
GREAT NEWS!! We’re hosting ‘New Leader Training’ at the Lockerbrook centre this December, March & September 2015.
Members are welcome to come along and take part in a weekend of different workshops focused on supporting our children and young people in the movement.
