Become a #litterhero
The Coop group are supporting the Great British Spring Clean, 20th March – 13th April 2020. Woodcraft Folk groups are urged to join their co-operative colleagues in supporting litter picks in their local area.
The annual campaign run by Keep Britain Tidy aims to encourage people to take to the streets creating cleaner streets, parks and beaches, protecting our wildlife and, ultimately, stopping the tide of plastic that is doing so much damage to our oceans and marine life. Such social action can help to transform our country for the better,

The Common Ground Team are well aware that food is a very important part of camp. We have created a new page on our website which is all things food! Check it out here - A draft menu will also be published soon which our KP team have been working hard on and consulting members too.

Our house is on fire!
This month saw the first anniversary of school strikes in the UK. As a youth organisation committed to the rights of the child and sustainable development we have been inspired by the school strikers and Greta Thunberg. Our young members recognise that the climate emergency is one of the most important issues of our time and warmly welcomed the Government’s declaration of a climate emergency in May 2019. We eagerly await action.

Our groups work to promote a global outlook, and welcome young people and their families from across the world. New Erasmus+ funding will enable to welcome 4 European Solidarity Corps volunteers. Climate Science Training Opportunities
As part of Woodcraft Folk's 'All Change' project we are delighted to be able to offer two new training events:
Young Climate Educators wanted
Woodcraft Folk is seeking to recruit 20 young climate educators to support the 'All Change' project.
Engineers wanted
Funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering, Woodcraft Folk is looking to support 50 engineers to share engineering solutions to the climate emergency.
