Adur #DreamBigAtHome packs

Adur Woodcraft Folk have led the way on distributing activity packs and craft materials to families in need. Funded by their local Lions, the Co-op Party and CrowdFunding they have been able to distribute 60 packs to families via the Shoreham Food Bank, with another 40 being prepared.

 

The packs include ideas for activities to do from home, paper, craft material for collages, scissors and some have included everything you need to plant sunflower seeds to bring a bit of sunshine to every home.

£10,000 to help Woodcraft Folk groups and centres during current COVID-19 pandemic 

 

Woodcraft Folk has been awarded £10,000 of National Lottery funding from Sport England’s Community Emergency Fund towards meeting essential running costs during the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.

Many of you will have seen the photos earlier this year of the Flooding in the Wye Valley, which once again affected the campsite. Sadly this time the water reached higher than ever, getting inside the wardens cabin, toilet block and Camp Koodoo.
