Huge thanks to all our Give as you Live supporters, particularly our 'Top Ten'  - Bernadette Russell, Andy Marshall, Bryony Walsh, Jon Nott, Owen Sedgwick-Jell, Jane Astill, Nadine Spencer, Sandra Smith, Emily Crane and Carly Walker-Dawson who between them have raised over £300 for Woodcraft funds.

How did they do this? Just by using Give as you Live for online purchases. All they had to do was install the Give as You Live extension to their web browser.

A new exhibition and publication on the subject of the Kibbo Kift Kindred launch this month. Kibbo Kift was an outdoor reform organisation, established in 1920, which aimed for world peace through a distinctive blend of camping, hiking and handicraft. Led by the charismatic artist leader, John Hargrave, the group was made up of a mix of social reformers, spiritual seekers, suffragettes and artists.

The summer of 2015 saw Woodcraft Folk's NCS programme take 17 teams of young people through the stages of Daring, Discovering, Developing and finally Doing their own Social Action Projects.

The teams developed their own ideas and projects based on what they felt the community needed and could benefit from. The projects were varied and successful, there was anything from Tombola and Tea Rooms to Boxes for the homeless and Open Mic Nights. Examples include:

This year all Glasgow Woodcraft Folk groups got together for a fun camping week at a working farm in Coldingham on the East Coast of Scotland. Elfins, Woodchips, Pioneers, Venturers, DFs and other adults put all their effort into making this camp one to remember.
       The theme of the camp was ‘origins’ because we were celebrating the 90th anniversary of Woodcraft Folk. We celebrated this through different traditional Woodcraft Folk activities and songs.
