 Virtual Common Ground is on!

On Saturday, we held our opening ceremony on Zoom, and it was great to have people joining us from Senegal, Ghana, Belgium, and across the UK. You can re-watch our opening ceremony here: https://dreambigathome.uk/common-ground-opening-ceremony/

Sadly, we are unable to  camp together this year. While we wait for our camp in 2022, we can still meet each other and learn things together online.

Virtual Common Ground will take place this week. There will be interactive sessions and workshops for all ages groups on different topics, including media and journalism, friendship, mental health and wellbeing, cooperation, climate change, and gender equality. The week will end with a drag disco and some games!

Sessions will take place on Zoom. To see the full programme and the joining details for each session, visit our website Dream Big At Home: https://dreambigathome.uk/common-ground/

If you can’t join the sessions, you can also find some fun activities to do at home, such as playing a refugee board game, making pancakes of the world, or creating your own co-op.

A big thank you to IFM-SEI for supporting us, and to all the volunteers who have made virtual Common Ground possible. We look forward to see you in our sessions this week, which will give you a taste of what will come in the summer of 2022 :)
