Oral History Training – 30 October-1 November 2015 – BOOKING OPEN!

Monday, 7 September 2015

We are repeating our hugely successful Life Story Interviewing weekend and places are still available – do join us!

The training is open to members as part of Woodcraft Folk’s HLF funded 90 years Anniversary Heritage Project. Come and learn about life story interviewing and become part of the Folk’s Oral History Interviewing Team.

Taking up this training offer gives you the wonderful opportunity of undertaking your own life story interview with a current or past Woodcraft member.

(By signing up to the training you are agreeing to undertake two life story interviews and summarising them.)

Your interview will become part of the British Library Woodcraft Folk Oral History Collection which will permanently be held as a resource in the National Sound Archive.

The training will be led by oral historians, Folk member, Andy Flinn and Nicola Samson, Woodcraft Folk Heritage Project Co-ordinator.

If you have any questions regarding the weekend please email Nicola at nicolasamson@woodcraft.org.uk.

This is a free event and spaces are limited (23 people only). Travel expenses will be paid.

To book yourself a place please complete the online booking form. Please note you will need to be logged on to the website before making your booking.
