Wednesday, 11 October 2017

UK charity Fields in Trust, in partnership with Groundwork, is searching for a “Young Champion” to celebrate the amazing work that young people (aged 16-24), are doing to make their communities a greener and happier place to live.

Nominations are open to recognise young people who have volunteered to improve a green space, undertaken conservation work or encouraged others through sports coaching or leading outdoor activities. The Fields In Trust Young Champion Award will recognise the exemplary work and dedication of a young person working to make their community better by helping people get outside, get active and love where they live.

If you've a young person in your Woodcraft group who has gone the extra mile for green space and you think they should be nominated for "Young Champion" Award see attached their leaflet below or go to for further instruction.

The closing date for nominations is the 22nd October so you need to be quick!! It would be great if one of our young members were the winners of such a great award and could highlight the great work we do in our groups all over the UK.
