New Leader Training - Book Now!

Are you new to volunteering with Woodcraft Folk?

Have you been involved for a while but want to learn more?

Our New Leader Training weekends are a great way to learn more about Woodcraft Folk, share ideas with new leaders from across the UK, and gain the skills and confidence to lead engaging activities for children.

People who come to our training sessions say they feel more confident and more able to lead activities at group. More confident leaders means our groups get better and better. Everyone wins!

Here's what participants have said recently:
  • "I'll take more responsibility in group. I feel more able to run activities"
  • "It was so nice to meet like-minded people and learn more about the Woodcraft Folk from behind the scenes. I really appreciate your efforts to make us feel welcome and in a safe and comforting space to contribute."
  • "I know I will be more confident in leading an event/group night."

We have four new leader training weekends coming up in the autumn:

  • Friday 25th - Sunday 27nd September - Lockerbrook, Peak District

  • Saturday 24th - Sunday 25th October - Golden Lion Hotel, Stirling

  • Friday 20th - Sunday 22nd November - Lockerbrook, Peak District

  • Friday 27th - Sunday 29th November - Lockerbrook, Peak District

Creche spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
