Leicestershire District Walk 2013

Saturday, 29 June 2013

On Wednesday 26th June, 68 members of Leicestershire Woodcraft Folk gathered in beautiful Bradgate Park to play some games and to go for a walk. We were pleased to have representatives from all of our groups, all of our age ranges and some new members from the brand new group that we have piloted this summer to start properly in September.

We started with the creed, played rabbits and rats, sang the one and only and climbed all the way to the top of the hill so that we had a fantastic view out across the whole of Leicestershire. We linked our hands together, did the outcry and ate some yummy homemade treats at the top of the hill. There were dogs, deer and lovely scenery. The sun came out to shine on us all evening and a great time was had by everyone.

It was another fantastic annual district walk so thanks to everyone for coming along, joining in and organising.
