Kids Got Rights Survey

Wednesday, 19 May 2021

Woodcraft Folk is part of a project with our international friends at IFM-SEI called #KidsGotRights. The project will see some of our young members work collaboratively with their international counterparts from across Europe to analyse how their rights as children are recognised, respecting and met in each country to then create a toolkit of activities and resources to help others learn about children's rights.

The group has recently created a survey for all ages to complete to find out what you know about children's rights. It would be great if you could help them by filling out the survey this will allow the Kids Got Rights team to work with our international friends as well as help a lot with the self analysis section of the project. The survey takes about 5-10 minutes to complete and provides you with resources at the end of completion from UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) and other organisations which are fighting to protect the rights of children globally.

Our next Kids Got Rights session for young people to get involved with the project will be held on Monday 24th May at 6:30pm and we would like to invite all age 8-13 to join us. We will be exploring and analysing how children’s rights are met, recognised and respected across the UK and within Woodcraft Folk. The session will include games, discussions and having your say heard about children’s rights in your life.
