Folk Office: staff working remotely in response to COVID-19

Tuesday, 17 March 2020

Following yesterday's Government announcement regarding COVID-19 we have asked all of our staff at Folk Office to work from home when possible until further notice. Folk Office is not closed and we will continue to provide a service to our members, however there may be some delays to the following:

  • From 11am, 17th March we have diverted our main office telephone line 020 770 4173 to a single mobile line. Calls will be answered between the hours of 9am - 5pm. If the phone is engaged, please email us instead at info@woodcraft.org.uk. Please be aware that calls to this line at present will be charged at your phone providers rate to mobiles, please email info@woodcraft.org.uk if you would like us to call you.
  • If you know the member of staff you wish to contact, feel free to call them directly on their work mobiles or alternatively email them. All of our staff contact details are available here on our website https://woodcraft.org.uk/woodcraft-folk-staff.
  • We will try our best to still send out resources, publicity materials and other mailings, however there may be delays of up to 10 days or more. In the interim, why not make the most of our resources area on our website. There are a wealth of resources, printable leaflets and policies at www.woodcraft.org.uk/resources.
  • There will be some delay in your Folk Supply orders being delivered. Updates or changes to delivery times will be advised on the shop website. If you have any queries about stock or your orders feel free to email folksuppy@woodcraft.org.uk.
  • Face to face meetings will be reduced. Staff will be recommending other online alternatives to meetings. If you have a scheduled meeting with a staff member, please be aware that logistics maybe changed.
  • We ask that members do not attend Folk Office without prior arrangement as there maybe no staff on site to help.

We're making every attempt to keep things business as usual. Staff are being supported to work from home and will continue to be as helpful as always. For more information and updates please go to https://woodcraft.org.uk/covid-19

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and cooperation at this time.

Please keep yourselves safe!!
