Fun at Festivals with Face Your Elephant

Woodcraft Folk are invitied to help festival-goers increase their knowledge of science and engineering and how to reduce their carbon emissions.

Some Woodcraft Folk members may remember "Face Your Elephant” from previous years and it's back for 2014. FYE is seeking to recruit up to 50 engineering students to receive training and engage with festival goers in a variety of fun, interactive ways at two great festivals this year; Latitude and Shambala.

The deadline for applications is 19th of May and we'll let you know if you are successful by the 23rd of May.

Partners in the project are the Institute for Energy and Sustainable Development at De Montfort University; Woodcraft Folk and the Centre for Alternative Technology, with support from the Royal Academy of Engineering. Other supporters include Festival Republic, Juilies Bicycle and the Powerful Thinking campagin.
