Digital skills & solutions
During Covid-19 lockdown Woodcraft Folk members of all ages have been developing their digital skills, whether facilitating online Zoom meetings, recording podcasts, short films or creating a virtual Woodcraft Folk world in minecraft.
As a movement we would like to celebrate how our members, of all ages, have responded imaginatively to create opportunities for us to stay connected with each other.
We heard from:
- Gregory, a PIoneer in Edinburgh, who worked with his friends to create a minecraft server.
- Sarah, a Venturer leader from Brighton, who as a group have created short films reflecting on Covid-19 and lockdown
- Joe, an Elfin leader from Waltham Abbey, who has regularly facilitated online quizzes, story-telling and games
- Matt, an Elfin leader from Sheffield, who prepared a little bit of magic fruit for his session last week
- Amber, a member from Glasgow, who has produced a number of short films sharing their knowledge and passion for nature
- Hackney District who cooked together during #BigCampIn
