Climate Change Mentoring

Wednesday, 15 April 2020

Woodcraft Folk is a supporting partner to IFM-SEI's Resist: The Climate Divide project. Resist! aims to mobilise a young generation of climate change activists to be ambassadors and multipliers for a systemic and intersectional approach to the global climate emergency.

Due to COVID19 planned face to face have had to be postponed but concern around the climate emergency hasn't gone away as a result of the pandemic despite improvements in air quality across the globe.

To help support activists and learning IFM-SEI are looking to recruit mentors to support children and young people who are concerned and wish to take action to address the climate emergency. IFM-SEI are seeking volunteers with a skillset related to the climate crisis or more operational skills such as mentoring or project management, who are interested in joining our mentoring team. At this point in this, we can’t be clear about the time commitment that this mentoring position will require, but it will essentially be supporting and guiding young people to deliver small projects or campaigns. If you are interested in joining us, or you simply want more information please do drop us a line at

If you are a young person who would like a mentor to support your own climate activism please see attached call for mentees document.
