Activity packs for White City food bank

Wednesday, 29 July 2020

The effects of Covid-19 and lockdown have been particularly harsh for low income and more vulnerable households because of the high levels of inequality in our society.

Among Woodcraft’s core principles are equality and solidarity, and we were happy to prepare and donate activity packs for the White City Food Bank in London. Thanks to funding from the White City Coop, 20 families from the area received packs containing coloring pencils and a rubber, a notebook, activity sheets, a frisbee, and some stickers.

We are thankful to our funders for enabling us to help working families, and to the White City Food Bank for coordinating the delivery of the packs.
