The list is in date order and some deadlines are very soon. They will not be applicable to all of you (most are for specific regions), and you might find that none of them are suitable for your district. I have selected them from the latest Funding Central alert as being the most appropriate for WF districts. I hope that a quick scan of this list will allow you to find those sources appropriate to your district. Each heading is a link to the relevant page on Funding Central. You need to be registered with Funding Central to see the linked pages.  Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

Grants are available to UK registered charities for projects that address specific categories set out by the Trust each year. 2019: Children and young people.

 

Cornwall Councillor Community Chest Grant Scheme

Max. Value: £ 1,000

Deadline: 28 Feb 2019

Grants are available to voluntary and community groups in Cornwall for projects that are beneficial to local residents and the local area.

 

Ford Britain Trust

Max. Value: £ 3,000

Deadline: 28 Feb 2019

Grants are available to not-for-profit organisations and schools for projects that benefit local communities in Great Britain with preference given to Dagenham, Warley and Dunton (Essex), Southampton, Daventry, Manchester and Halewood.

 

Gatwick Airport Community Trust Fund

Max. Value: £ 5,000

Deadline: 28 February 2019

Grants are available to charitable organisations in specified areas directly affected by operations at Gatwick Airport.  Support is given to projects which protect and enhance the social and environmental wellbeing of the community.

 

Hampshire County Councillor Grants

Max. Value: € 8,000

Deadline: 28 Feb 2019

One-off grants are available to local voluntary and community groups for projects that will benefit local residents throughout Hampshire. Funding can assist with a wide range of groups and activities.

 

Henry Smith Charity - Holiday Grants for Children

Max. Value: £ 2,500

Deadline: 28 Feb 2019

Grants are available for schools, youth groups, not-for-profit organisations, and charities in the UK to provide access to recreational trips or holidays for groups of children aged 13 years and younger who experience disadvantage or disability and live in an area of high deprivation. Priority will be given to the 20% most deprived areas in the UK. This means areas that fall within the bottom 20% according to the National Indices of Deprivation.

 

Phoenix Community Housing - Community Chest Fund

Max. Value: £ 20,000

Grants are available to Phoenix Housing residents, local businesses and voluntary organisations for projects that benefit people in the Bellingham, Downham and Whitefoot wards in south Lewisham .

 

Birmingham International Airport Community Trust Fund

Max. Value: £ 3,000

Deadline: 01 Mar 2019

Grants are available to local community groups and charitable organisations within Birmingham International Airport's 'area of benefit' for projects that improve the quality of life for residents.

 

Oxford - Small Community Grants

Max. Value: £ 5,000

Grants are available to voluntary and community groups for projects that benefit the residents of Oxford City.

 

Wimbledon Foundation - Get Set, Get Active Fund

One-off grants are available to local not-for profit organisations, community groups and sports clubs based and/or active in the London Boroughs of Merton and Wandsworth for projects that help people of all ages and abilities take part in physical or sports activities in their community.

Grants for not-for-profit organisations that are working with disadvantaged children and young people who are 18 years old and younger living in the UK, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

Gloucestershire Community Foundation - Main Grants

Support for charities and charitable groups in Gloucestershire with the aim of helping people to overcome disadvantage and isolation.

 

East Midlands Airport Community Fund

Cheshire Community Foundation – #'iWill Programme (Youth Social Action Fund)

Grants are available for community groups working in Cheshire for projects which engage young people in ongoing regular volunteering or demonstrate how another youth-led method will be as effective at engaging young people in social action.

28 Feb 2019: Charity Training in Solihull just £10-£20 (9:45 AM - 4:30 PM)

The Foundation for Social Improvement's Solihull event will offer 100 delegate training places so that all small charities, wherever they are, can access the skills they need to become self-sustaining. Courses on offer include: Demonstrating Your Impact, Developing Corporate Relationships, Developing Community Fundraising and Charity Leader Responsibilities.This training day is part of the Small Local Charities and Community Groups Training Programme.
