In 2011 Hornsey Woodcraft Folk received £7,700 from Awards for All, the Big Lottery fund, to carry out a project 'Outdoor Bushcraft Education for Young People'.

 Woodcraft Folk Scotland volunteers from 3 districts met for a weekend of youth leader training in Stirling in April. This was for anyone involved with (or soon to be involved with) Pioneer or Venturer groups.

Woodcraft Folk leaders of all ages came from all directions to Training for Leaders Old and New, from February 22nd - 24th. It was one of the biggest training events in recent Woodcraft history, comprising 69 people, a three-strand programme of workshops and a brilliant range of volunteers and staff from all over England. Needless to say, a great time was had by all.
