Last month Woodcraft Folk pilotted the New Group Journey - a new online training resource for new groups and new volunteer leaders. The resource is the first step in creating an accessible training format for our thousands of volunteers.

Following additional funding from the National Voluntary Organisations in Scotland Fund, Woodcraft Folk are now looking to add to its online training resources by creating two new modules:

Young Leader Training

Woodcraft Folk has run many weekends of training for leaders of various ages. Although the activities we use have developed a bit as we've tried to make these weekends as accessible as possible to younger leaders (eg Venturers), our approach is that everyone can participate in the same course, whatever their age, if they're new to leadership.
