Leader Training: Growing Your Group
Can you help Woodcraft Folk ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate in one of our groups?
This residential training weekend, held at our Darsham Country Centre on the Suffolk coast, is a chance for volunteers new and old to come together to explore how to grow and sustain our groups.
New volunteers will have the opportunity to learn how to plan and deliver a programme of activities rooted in Woodcraft Folk's aims & principles, and keep young people safe in our groups.
Leader Training Weekend: 9-11 February
Places are still available on our forthcoming leader training weekend in Febraury, which will take place at the Darsham Country Centre in Suffolk.
The training is suitable for new and existing volunteers working with any of our age groups. Participants will have the chance to share challenges and solutions, as welll as learn practical tips and techniques for managing your group, keeping young people safe, and planning an engaging programme.

One Solution: Resolution! Is a five day seminar aimed at 13-15 year olds offering an alternative education equipping young people to recognise and combat violence in their everyday lives; teaching them to think critically and creatively about the world using a diverse range of perspectives.

Training for New Leaders in London
The course will be run on a on non-residential basis at the Collect BASE KX in North London.
Food will be provided and we are offering a crèche (early booking essential) on site.
To cover the cost of food and materials there will be a charge of £20.
