The Co-operative Group are just about to launch their first youth board, The Co-operative Young Members' Board. This is a great step towards empowering young members to influence the Co-operative and an opportunity for young Woodcraft Folk to offer ideas and advice to the organisation that has supported so many Woodcraft Folk groups over the years!

On Saturday 23rd June, co-operators at the annual Futures North conference at Sheffield Hallam University raised a toast and cut a giant cake, to launch the new edition of 'How to Set Up a Workers' Co-op'.

The UK Society for Co-operative Studies aims to link the theory and practice of co-operation. This year's Annual Conference will be exploring the complex relationship between co-operative enterprises, the communities that shape and are shaped by them, and what can be learned from the specific local contexts in which co-operatives trade.
